At Shri Gusaiji’s place, the appearance of the first lalan beloved Shri Giridharji took place. At that time, preparations were also being made for the cradle swing at Kumbhandasji’s place.
Shrinathji would daily take Kumbhandasji along to steal butter from the Gopi’s house. One day, both friends were sitting. Then Kumbhandasji asked, “Lala! Where are we going today?” Then Shriji Bawa said, “Kumbhana, let’s go to your village Jamunavatta today.”
Kumbhandasji said, “Prabhu, you will get me killed! Everyone there knows me. You are naughty, you will run away and then every time I am beaten up.”

Shreeji Bawa dragged him along. There was a pot tied up at the height in Gwalin’s house. Prabhu told Kumbhandasji, “You become a horse, I will climb on you and steal butter.” Shrinathji climbed and reached the pot but the pot was a little high so he exerted a little force.
As soon as he exerted force, his Pitambar loosened and started to come off. Now both hands had the pot so Shri Krishna appeared two more hands and held the Pitambar. Kumbhandasji had the wonderful darshan of this Chaturbhuj swaroop.
After the Leela of butter stealing, Kumbhandasji returned to his house at that time someone came and gave him the news that a seventh son was born at his place. He was very happy. Just now he had the darshan of the Shri Krishna’s Chaturbhuj swaroop and here he had a son, he named the son “Chaturbhuj Das”.

As soon as the doors of the Nij Mandir opened, Chaturbhujdasji became a small child again. When both father and son were alone, Chaturbhujdasji would grow up and both would engage in Satsang.
They would engage in Satsang about the Leela of Krishna. They would sing Kirtan. As soon as someone came, Chaturbhujdasji would become a small child again.
It was a rule of Shri Chaturbhujdasji that in childhood, he would not drink milk until he had the darshan of Shriji Bawa. Kumbhandasji had found the true heir to his divine wealth.
Shri Chaturbhujdasji, even at a very young age, would compose Pad and sing Kirtan in the seva of Shreeji Bawa. He too had formed a wonderful friendship with Shriji Bawa.
A Story Behind the Pad “Govardhan wasi sanware lal”
Once, Shri Gusaiji went abroad (outside Brij) for a pilgrimage and then Shriji Bawa, in the form of a wish, had arrived at Giridharji’s Sathghara (Mathura) which was built by Maharani Durgavati in Mathura.

Shriji Bawa had been there for two months and 21 days and here, in the absence of the Prabhu, the condition of the friends was not good. Chaturbhujdasji composed a Pad of Hilag during this time.
He was tormented by the separation of Shriji Bawa. Then he composed a Pad of separation, “Shri Govardhanwasi Savare Lal, Tum bin rahyo na jay…” The distance from Gopalpura (Jatipura) to Mathura was quite a lot. Still, this Pad of separation of Chaturbhujdasji was heard by Shriji like a message.
Shriji Bawa also replied, “Chaturbhuj ! Don’t become crazy; I am arranging to come today. Now even I don’t like it here without you.” Shriji Bawa gave aagya to Shri Gusaiji’s eldest son, “Govardhan ! Now bring me back to Gopalpura, my friends have become lonely without me. ”

Giridharji pleaded with affection, “Bawa! Stay for a few more days.” The next day was Nrisimha Chaturdashi, then there was a lot of separation in that Pad of Chaturbhujdasji.
Because of this, Shriji Bawa made a plan and gave Aagya to Giridharji.
“Govardhan ! Kaka ji (Gusaiji) is coming from the pilgrimage, such a message is coming. If they don’t see me there, they will be upset. Bring me to Gopalpura quickly today. Serve me Gopivallabh Bhog quickly then take me to Gopalpura. Serve Rajbhog and Shayan Bhog together.”
At the Aagya of Shriji, Shri Giridharji sent a messenger quickly to the temple on a horse and commanded to prepare for the arrival of Shrinathji and to prepare Rajbhog and Shayan Bhog. Shri Giridharji prepared the chariot. Everyone bid farewell to Prabhu with tears.
On the other hand, the tune of “Tum bin rahyo na jay” of Chaturbhuj Dasji was getting stronger. Shriji Bawa Gave Aagya, “Govardhan ! Drive the chariot quickly (fast) otherwise, Kaka ji will come… Fast… and fast… Govardhan… drive fast.”
Shri Giridharji said, “Ha Bawa ! I am driving fast… but the path is rough so if I drive too fast, Aapshri will Feel Shram”
“Savare Lal tum bin rahyo na jay” Again the tune was heard.
“Don’t worry about my shram today… Govardhan it’s getting late… Drive fast” Shriji commands.
“Savare…Lal” Now Chaturbhujdasji’s breath was getting heavy. “Ayo, Chaturbhuj, ab hu ayo… stop for a moment…” Shriji Bawa is saying to Chaturbhuj Dasji in his mind.
“Tum bin rahyo na jay…” Chaturbhuj Dasji’s Breath becomes heavy. Darkness began to his vision.
Then the sound of the bells of Shrinathji’s chariot began to echo in Talethi. The Shila of Talethi, which had lost its luster, became radiant again. The withered trees began to bloom again.
The atmosphere became pleasant. Everyone Give Badhai to each other. The separation of Chaturbhuj Dasji Comes to an end. Shri Giridharji stopped the chariot near the Dandvati Shila, again placed Shriji on his shoulder, and quickly climbed up Girirajji.
Near the temple, they saw Chaturbhuj Dasji shedding tears on the stone. Shri Giridharji stoped a bit and asked, “Hey, Chaturbhujdas! Is everything well?” Then Chaturbhujdasji said joyfully, “Yes, Maharaj! Now everything is well.”
Shriji Bawa, who was seated on Shri Giridharji’s shoulder, slightly nodded towards Chaturbhujdasji and smiled. Then Shri Giridharji Beseated Shri Goverdhannathji in the temple and offered Rajbhog and Shayan Bhog.
There is such a wonderful divine, supernatural friendship between Chaturbhujdasji and Shriji Bawa. This Pad is still Banned to be sung around the temple of Girirajji in the separation of the Krishna. Prabhu should not feel Shram.
